Infineum signs 3 year deal with myTsafe for its secure online data storage system.
Infineum UK Ltd, the UK arm of Infineum, a 50/50 joint venture between ExxonMobil and Shell, has decided to provide myTsafe, the world’s ultra secure online document store, to all their colleagues who travel on business, to have a secure place to store copies of personal documents.
In today’s world, travellers have to carry documents of all sorts with them and if lost or stolen it could be extremely difficult for them.
Identity theft and fraud is on the rise everywhere (up 11% in the UK alone 2009 over 2008 [CIFAS]) and to send employees on business without providing a suitable means of carrying information securely is nowadays not acceptable.
Dr Martin Dare-Edwards, Country Manager and Director of Infineum UK Ltd, said: “Providing myTsafe to our employees is a further example of Infineum taking its duty of care responsibility very seriously.”
Infineum chose myTsafe for its dedication to security coupled with its ease of use. An external provider of the service was essential so that there could not at any time be a potential conflict of interest as a result of holding employees personal information – details of bank accounts, insurance papers, passports, personal addresses, medical information and so on.
